Hi there! My name is Lourdes Montero and here is a little bit about myself.
I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba (which allowed me to acquire some salsa dancing skills). I moved to Miami, Florida when i was 15, and double majored in Software Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Miami.
I had my first encounter with the Salesforce ecosystem as a student in the University of Miami, where I worked as a developer at IT department and got to write my first lines of Apex code.
On my last semester as an undergrad student, I got an internship as a Salesforce Developer in Ultimate Software. After graduating I started working there full-time with an amazing team of developers from whom i learned a lot.
Now I work as a Senior Member of Technical Staff in Salesforce, the Mothership! Where I work as the SCRUM Lead for our engineering team, build applications on the Salesforce Platform, and write the code that runs behind the Check Challenge button in Trailhead.
The purpose of this site is to share what i have learned in my journey on the Salesforce ecosystem, and help other trailblazers the same way so many others helped me. Enjoy!
